Quartz glass exhibits an extremely high deformation and softening temperature, enhanced dielectric electric field strength, low dielectric loss, and minimal conductivity. It offers excellent chemical stability spanning from ultraviolet to infrared wavelengths and remains unreactive with water, salt solutions, and most acids. Additionally, it has superior radiation resistance.
